Hey! I’m Ali. In 2014 I realized I liked staring at things close up and taking pictures more than the average person. I decided it was time to take my interest to the next level, and spent the next year agonizing over the brand and expense of buying my first “real” camera. Tens of thousands of photos later, it remains one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Photography has given me the unique opportunity to get completely lost while standing still — in the beauty and complexity of nature, the subtleties of an expression, or just a new vantage point on an everyday object or scene. It has filled lonely days and nights with wonder and inspiration, it has filled my travels with pure magic, and it has helped me capture every milestone and moment of growth for the people I love.
By day, I currently run my business — Thoughtful Human — where I work to help people connect and communicate through adversity via unique, plantable stationery. By night/weekend, I am available to help you capture your own magic and milestones, whatever they may be!
